APPT9 Seoul: Nothing is impossible

If there's one thing I've learned over the past 12 months it's that nothing is impossible on the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT).

Just last week, the APPT completed its third event of Season 9, Macau Poker Cup 22, and we witnessed history as Yuguang Li won the HK$80,000 High Roller less than 24 hours after he won the Red Dragon Main Event. If you missed it, you can find the story here.

And here we are just three weeks away from APPT Seoul where our last visit to South Korea had a movie-like ending for the biggest name (literally) in poker. Thailand's Chane Kampanatsanyakorn was the main event runner-up in 2013 and found himself on the final table of the same event one year later. The redemption story came to fruition as Kampanatsanyakorn would claim the 2014 title after a grueling 15-hour final table on his way to winning ₩150,000,000 and the APPT trophy after coming up short just twelve months earlier. Seriously, you can't make this stuff up!

So for all you dreamers out there, go ahead and dream. The next big story could be you!

APPT Seoul takes place at Paradise Walkerhill Casino from April 6-12 which includes six Official Asia Player of the Year events and features the ₩3,000,000 (USD $2,800) Main Event. Last year, the main event drew 256 runners and had a prize pool weighing in at ₩685,363,200 (USD $608,000).

Online Satellites to APPT Seoul are running now on PokerStars.
